Again watching these videos not only just make us laugh but they also make us feel sorry for these guys. However, working at an international airport and being a pro soccer player/coach demand that they speak English fluently, not just something which means nothing at all. There are hundreds of English schools around. Be careful: your English might sound something like that. Think it over when choosing a language school. Think MEMPHIS.

World League - Volleyball

Last June 13th, we had a pretty cool experience: we attended Brazil vs Poland, which was the first game within the World League, at the Ibirapuera Sports Center. I guess it was much more fun than any other soccer games we've been to. Next time, we'll sure be inviting a couple of our buddies to come along. We'd like to thank Rosana Cabral (Touchstone 4) for granting us the tickets for free.

Check out a few seconds of a video we recorded there:

Visit to Goes Winery in São Roque

Last Sunday (June 07th) we and a couple of friends went to Goes Winery in São Roque (http://www.roteirodovinho.com.br/conteudo/vinicolagoes/vinicolagoes.htm ). There, we not only had fun talking around a cool pond, but we also bought and tasted different kinds of wines, had lunch together and visited the "Wine Museum" on our way back. It was a beautiful, windy, sunny day. I guess everyone had a pretty good time together, and this surely strengthens our bonds with the ones we care.

Thanks you all guys for one more moment of bliss.

Funny Stuff!!!

We know! We know it's pretty funny. We do have a blast when we set our eyes to this. It isn't that funny for the teacher, though. That demands a lot of professionalism and patience so as not to hit the roof. One of the greatest virtues when you're studying a new language it is to acknowledge your flaws and difficulties so you can do your best to overcome them.
Sleep on it.

Picnic at Villa Lobos Park

Picnic at Villa Lobos Park on May 31st! It was a nice Sunday! Even the weather cooperated! We played dodgeball, we performed mimics, we sang and ate a lot!!! Many students were there, some of them with boyfriends and girlfriends, or relatives! Well, it took us some time to get there because of a marathon, but everything worked fine! Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!

Welcome you all to our blog. Yep. This is our first post, and it's meant to make you all not only get to know a little bit from us, but also hear from us - no matter what the subject might be. We'll be here talking about our experience as teachers of English (and that has been quite a while since we started), everything we feel it's important that you know about Memphis English School in Jandira - www.memphisnet.com.br - and whatever crosses our hearts as far as teaching is concerned. Please whatever you've gotta say, be kind not to use Portuguese or swearwords. They'll be crossed out. Well, that's it for now. Hope you enjoy it!
